INGREDIENTS:
- 200 grams of almond flour
- 2 TBSP of xanthan gum
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 2 TBSP water
- Cooked sausages of choice
DIRECTIONS:
- Line a sheet pan with baking paper and preheat the oven to 160°C
- Mix all your dry ingredients together and make a hole in the center.
- Crack your eggs and add the water into the hole and whisk together without mixing the dry ingredients in.
- Mix all the ingredients together until your dough comes together into a combined ball.
- Dough will be slightly sticky. Let rest for five minutes.
- Roll out your ball between your baking paper until it is about 1mm thick.
- Cut into thin strips and wrap them around your sausages.
- Bake for 5 minutes then turn to the grill setting and bake for another 2-3 minutes or until the get crispy on top. (optional).
- Make their eyes with the sauce of your choice.
NOTES:
I KNOW THAT SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF XANTHAN GUM BUT IT IS THE CORRECT AMOUNT.
