Keto Alfred Cabbage

 

Imagine the creaminess of Alfredo sauce, the crunch of cabbage, and the satisfaction of a keto-friendly meal all rolled into one. That's Keto Alfred Cabbage for you! It's a unique twist on the classic Alfredo pasta, but without the guilt of carbs.

Serves: 3-4
Prep: 10 min
Cook: 10 min

Ingredients:

  • Head of green cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Finely chop your head of cabbage and onion.
  2. Mince your garlic and sauté it in the pan with your butter.
  3. Add your onion and cabbage and sauté it for 5-8 minutes until cabbage is cooked.
  4. Turn off heat and add your cream, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stir until well incorporated.
  6. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • Can add chicken or bacon.
  • I also like to use fresh cracked black pepper.
  • Could also be made into a carbonara with egg yolks.
